Inspect and communicate results =============================== This entry point leads from a completed or interrupted measurement to interactive analysis and a deliverable report. 1. Select the appropriate data source ------------------------------------- * The **autosave pickle** resumes an interrupted measurement. * The **after-measure pickle** separates completed acquisition from repeatable evaluation. * The **final history pickle** contains acquisition, evaluation, and preceding reference datasets. * **DAT and TSV files** are flat, readable views for comparison and further processing. Details and security rules are documented under :doc:`../results/history-files`. 2. Inspect a pickle interactively --------------------------------- :doc:`PExplorer <../results/pexplorer>` displays the object structure, transfers selected data into a table, and plots one or more Y quantities over an X quantity. Inspect dataset keys, frequency coverage, units, uncertainties, and referenced source data first. Only load or execute pickles and PExplorer commands from trusted sources. 3. Generate a report -------------------- ``mpylab-tem-report`` discovers supported sections in a TEMCell history and creates HTML, PDF, and separate SVG or PNG figures. Global laboratory details and measurement-specific metadata can be layered through multiple TOML profiles. See :doc:`../results/reports`. 4. Check traceability --------------------- A report does not evaluate the measurement again. Verify that every referenced dataset is available and that frequency coverage, completeness, and warnings support the intended statement. ``traceability.tsv`` and ``report-metadata.tsv`` provide this information in machine-readable form.
