Run a bounded, RF-off SMC100A smoke test.

Parameters:

argv (sequence of str, optional) – Command-line arguments without the program name. An optional INI path selects an explicitly configured device. Without it, the test uses a virtual driver and never opens a hardware bus.

Returns:

Zero after all bounded operations succeed.

int

RuntimeError – If initialization or a driver operation reports an error.
