Explicit profile identities and safe configuration resolution.

mpylab.limits.registry.resolve_limit(spec, category=None)

Resolve a registered limit profile without fuzzy automatic selection.

Parameters:

• spec (str, dict, object, callable or None) – Registered identity, legacy module name, configuration mapping, existing object/callable, or None. Mappings accept profile/module/name, category, class, kwargs and constructor parameters. Legacy defaults are retained.

• category (str, optional) – Required conducted_emission or radiated_emission category.

Returns:

Selected profile or unchanged supplied object/callable/None.

Return type:

object, callable or None

Raises:

• ValueError – If identity is unknown, ambiguous, conflicting or outside the registry.

• TypeError – If specification or configuration parameters have unsupported types.
